Kayaking at Brevard Zoo

Brevard Zoo offers 2 kayaking routes through their exhibits. You can hand feed giraffes, lorikeets, emus, rhinos, and more. Please make sure that those in your carpool will be staying as long as you are. Some folks may stick around to do dinner and/or Treetop Trek.

Food: by the zoo are Denny's, Perkins', & Wendy's. During the 1 block drive back to I-95, there are also Uno's, Chick-fil-A, Bob Evans, Sonny's, and McDonald's. I like the Carrabba's a short drive east. Inside the zoo are a small food place (with sandwiches, wraps, & burgers); a very small ice cream, smoothie, & coffee place; and a Dippin Dots stand. Some of us intend to do the Treetop Trek by 3pm, so we wouldn't make food plans at the end of the day. Don't let that stop you from joining others at any of the food choices.
