Wilson's message:
We are already into the second quarter of 2015, have you been doing anything special to make yourself healthier and happier this year?
So often in life, we all have a bad habit or two that are keeping us from living our lives to the fullest. We all know that. That bad habit can be spending too much time on our smart phones, watching too much TV instead of exercising, or maybe even working a busy career without a life purpose, you name it.
The best way to start living a heavier and happier life, is to give yourself a new good habit. What would be a good choice of a new habit? I truly believe, living a Tai Chi lifestyle is the answer to many problems in our modern lives. Living a Tai Chi lifestyle will help you to stay active year round, remove your daily stress, keep you body and mind in harmony with each other, strengthen your immune system, give you more energy to take on challenges and achieve goals in your life.....
In fact, living a Tai Chi lifestyle is more than a good habit. It is a journey, a journey for life, and a journey that will change your life forever.
Sitting on the sideline will not help, start taking action now! To take the first step of this journey, RSVP to our public Tai Chi class and experience the benefits of living a Tai Chi lifestyle yourself!
Meetup Info:
This public Tai Chi class is scheduled for May 31, 2015 (Sunday). This is a perfect opportunity to learn more about our Tai Chi class and try out our Yuan Shi Style! You will also get to speak to our students and meet with our teacher Master Guanren Liu.
We will meet up at 9:45 am at the lobby (1633 Ontario Street, Vancouver), and one of our students will guide you through the Tai Chi class. We usually begin the class with 30 mins of Tai Chi Stance (standing meditation) and followed by 15 mins of Tai Chi warm up. Then, we will practice 45 mins of Tai Chi Forms and 30mins of Tai Chi Push Hands/Self-Defense Applications. If the weather permits, we will practice our Tai Chi Forms outdoor in the Olympic Village Square so we can enjoy the sunshine at the same time! Please wear clothing and shoes that are comfortable, bring a bottle of water, and be ready for two hours of Tai Chi with us together, it's going to be fun!
Feel free to contact one of our organizers if you have any questions before RSVPing this meetup. We look forward to seeing some new faces in this public class this Sunday!
Some legal stuffs and not-so-fine prints: practicing Tai Chi is generally a very safe way to exercise our body and mind; however, just like participating in any other sports, there is a risk of potential injuries and unpleasant incidents could happen during or after any Meetup event. If you have any existing medical conditions or unsure about your state of fitness, please consult your family physician if you are suitable for Tai Chi before attending our events. By RSVPing, you (and your guests likewise) agree that you will participate in our events at your own risks. You will be responsible for your own safety and exercise common sense to keep everyone around you safe. You also agree to waive and release all rights and claims for damage you may have against the organizers, instructors, and participants of such Meetup events.
