Ruby Object Model and Agile Web Development with Rails

Details
October is almost gone, the Pilarist-orgy (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23orgiapilarista&src=hash) ended with no casualties, Rails Rumble (http://railsrumble.com/) was a success, and now it's about time for our monthly dinner.
This is going to be our 6th meetup, and we are planning to make it a little different. If you follow the mailing list (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/zaragoza-rb), and you should, there was a discussion about what the group expects of our meetings. WE NEED CHANGE!

Don't freak out. It's going to be fine. This is what we agree on doing.
As not many people in the group actually work with Ruby, we are going to dedicate more time to the basics. Part of the time to Ruby (the language) and part of the time to Rails (the web framework). There will also be a place for small presentations of particular topics that anyone wants to share (a library, some project, a certain concept...). The idea is that people can learn Ruby and Rails.
This week for the Ruby part we are going to talk about "Ruby's Object Model", to understand why everything in ruby is an object? how objects are created? what is this thing called self? and this kind of stuff.
And after this we will start a Reading Club with the famous "Agile Web Development with Rails 4" (http://pragprog.com/book/rails4/agile-web-development-with-rails-4) we will be doing this every month, and hopefully soon everyone in the group will have a fully functional rails application.
I really think this might be interesting for more people who are interested in Rails, so please help us by sharing the initiative.
