For those who can't make the work party on Sunday (https://www.meetup.com/ZeitgeistSeattle/events/114584142/), or if you just love the project so much you want to visit again, we'll have a walking tour to explore the work that's been done and enjoy the beauty of the various pollinators in our area.
We will start the evening with a small potluck at 6:30pm, meeting at the grassy area of the Chapel of Saint Ignatius. Please bring a small snack to share, as well as utensils and a plate.
The walking tour will commence at 7:00pm, and continue for about 1 mile at a leisurely pace, ending at Nora's Woods.
The Pollinator Pathway is a mile long, 12 foot wide corridor
of pollinator friendly gardens being built along Seattle's Columbia
street. Begun as an exercise in ecology and urbanism in 2008 by
artist Sarah Bergmann, this public corridor supports pollinators by
strengthening and connecting two isolated green spaces (Seattle University's campus and a small woods called Nora's Woods). For more information: http://www.pollinatorpathway.com http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/b/6/4/6/event_228406662.jpeg
