NYC-Explore] Suggest MeetUp activities

Hello Steven,
I'm just catching up with today's e-mails.I was in the
heat all day. I'm totaly exhausted.
Anyway, this doesn't have to be rocket science.
Any tour can last as long or as short as the group
would like.Generally,a walking tour of a particular n/hood
usually lasts anywhere from an hour and a half
to 2 hours,sometimes longer.
I'm thinking of this in very casual
Obviously,no charge or fee.We also stop
and get out of the heat whenever we feel like it and
stop and eat whenever the group wants to stop.
I think the first thing to do in order to
get this started is for me to do 2  things.
First, put out a list of areas or n/hoods that I think
would be an interesting walking tour and second,
see how many people are interested in which specific tour.
Otherwise, this will go on with an endless discussion for
weeks unless we get focused and serious.
I'm suggesting the west village starting at
Seventh Ave South and working our way west
towards the Hudson. That tour has alot of history
and unknown facts.Plus,it's fun,interesting and
there are plenty of places to stop, either for free or,
if we want, an inexpensive coffee house, lunch or dinner.
That's a start.That's one choice.Let's see how that goes.

I think it?s great to hear all this positive energy.

I was curious as to how long (time period) the walking tours usually take.

As a rule, I tend to prefer events that are more unstructured and not too long.

I?m sure you will have a great time, it?s just my personal preference.
