New Meetup: Climbing and more

Announcing a new Meetup for Zurich Hike & Outdoor!

What: Climbing and more

When: November 15,[masked]:00 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Hi everyone ...again,

As this Sunday will be mostly cloudy and cold, my original plan was to do a introductory course in indoor climbing. However, the guys at the climbing gym got desperate when I said I would like to do a course with 15-20 people with such short notice (4 days appareantly is not enough).

So I will only recommend you to do the following: if you are interested to participate on an introductory course in the Climbing Gym Gaswerk Schlieren (check this link)
this Sunday from 13:00 to 14:40 then register yourself at http://gaswerk.kletterzentrum.com/KursDetail.php?CODE=SHK Hopefully there are enough spaces left to accomodate.

We can meet at 12:05 hours at the Z?rich HB, under the big weird angel in front of the ticket counters.

Please note that only those with qualifications are able to "safe-rope" the person that is climbing. An introductory course will not provide you with thouse qualifications. In the case of non-qualified, they can wait for someone who will safe-rope for them, or they call to the "boulder" where no rope is required.

After climbing, which I expect it to be at around 17 hours, we can all to my place to have a Tallarinata or to grill, before I put the grill away. If you are not coming to the climbing event, but still want to come to join us to eat, then just feel welcome to do so.
There is enough space for all of us to sit. We will stop at a Migros or Coop to get something if needed.

My address is the following:

Binzallee 31,
8055 Z?rich

http://map.search.ch/zuerich/binzallee-31

You can get there with either
Bus 32 to H?fliweg
S10 from Z?rich HB to Binz
Tram 9 or 14 to Goldbrunnenplatz or Talwiesenstrasse
Tram 13 or 5 to Laubegg, but then you have to walk a bit further.

Well, hope to see you then!

Sven
