Sail to Put in Bay and the Lake Erie Islands

Join Robert on a weekend sailing excursion... It's only $99 and gets you two nights on the boat and dockage fees.

Come down Friday after work and we'll stay in the Marina overnight (there is a heated pool and good restaurants around). marina also has showers, laundry, and club house, to enjoy friday night and sunday afternoon if you wish. We will be leaving Saturday morning about 9 if you can not make it down Friday night.

Saturday Morning we will set sail for Kelly's Island and drop anchor for awhile and swim, then we will head out to Middle Bass Island where we will get a dock for the night, ( they have power at the dock so we can run the AC for sleeping at night) Its a short ferry ride over to Put in Bay. Last ferry back from Put in Bay is 1am.

We will get up Sunday morning, Middle bass has showers on site, and head out after I make breakfast omelletes for everyone. Depending on the hang over level and the weather conditions we will do some sailing back around the islands or head back to the marina. Should be back by 3pm or so on sunday.

Bring a swimsuit, bring a towel, some clothes, things to drink, and a sleeping bag. pack light its like camping with beds vs your own hotel room, need to have space to move around too.

Boat is a 27 foot Catalina Sailboat. Sleeps five below, 3 single and 1 double in v-berth shortest couple gets the v berth. please state if you are plus 1 that you want the v berth or not.

Robert is a US Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain.

Catawba Marina is only 2 hours from A2.

We'll return Sunday mid afternoon, however if you need to be back sooner, the ferry will take you back early.
