I just came across an article that might be of interest to the presenter from Views180. The new issue of Econ Journal Watch has a study on The Ideological Migration of the Economics Nobel Laureates. It basically looks at whether Nobel prize winners changed their ideological outlook over the course of their life. Enjoy! Sivan.

Hello all, I wanted to pass along information about two upcoming events that may be of interest:

    Connect with UMSI
An event where you can learn about the Master of Science & PhD in Information degrees. Find out how a degree from the UM School of Information (UMSI) can accelerate your career.

Create data-driven solutions from the datasets of three Ann Arbor non-profits: AA YMCA, AADL, and AA Area Community Foundation. Similar to a hackathon, participants are encouraged to be creative with their analysis and solutions to a given research question.

I'm still working on the results from the small behavioral science experiment we did. In the mean time, here is a great relevant TED talk by Opower's founder:

I just signed up for this meeting. No one from my company has been here before so I am just looking for a little info in terms of what to expect, who attends, etc. MS2 is expert in the design of cloud-based transportation data management systems. We are a small company but are slowly growing. We have a need for a software developer. Is this a good meeting for us to possibly meet prospective employees? Lev, [masked]

I heartily agree with David. I attend as often as I can, I have made many good contacts at this Meetup. People often prospect for employees and programmers seem to be well represented.

@Lev On the Pages tab at there's an option to view info on all of the past A2NewTech meetings either as a PDF or as a Google Drive spreadsheet ... ... either of which also has links to any meeting videos and presenter websites.
