Ann Arbor New Tech meetup: Mon Feb 9, 6 PM at Google

Thank you for registering for the Ann Arbor New Tech Meetup!

For our first event, we've lined up an exciting mix of Sales 2.0, Health 2.0, Web 2.0, and Nonprofit 2.0 software companies, and an early-stage medical device company to kick off a series of meetups we intend to hold every month to support Ann Arbor's startup community.

This event is completely full with 120 registrants, and an automatically-managed waitlist. Please update your RSVP if you cannot make it to allow someone else to take your place. Either way, please join us downstairs after the event for our open Startup Drinks networking session at Bar Louie - we'll have the heated patio available for an extended group.

Attendee checklist:

  • Park at the Liberty Square structure (Tally Hall) at 510 Washington for $2
  • Update your User profile with your full name (for nametags)
  • Update your Group profile with your reason for joining, so people can connect with you after the event
  • Bring business cards
  • Bring your laptop / mobile devices - we encourage live blogging, Twitter, and photos and video of the event to be shared online (tagged a2nt)
  • Bring cash for the bar

Here's our schedule for the night, which we will be observing closely - please come on time!

6 PM: Welcome

Take the elevators to the 3rd floor, Google's multipurpose room. Find your nametag at the door, and please take your seats quickly, auditorium-style.

6:15 PM: Introduction and Presentations

Brief introduction of the group, sponsors, and house rules, followed by 5 speakers at 10 minutes each (5 minutes to present, 5 minutes Q&A with the audience)

7:15 PM: Announcements

Quick announcements (2 sentence max!) of upcoming events, open jobs, people looking for work, etc.

7:30 PM: Networking

Each of our speakers has a table where you can meet them and learn more about their companies, and head downstairs to Bar Louie for networking, dinner, etc.

We look forward to a night of informal, exciting presentations and stimulating conversations. Thank you for supporting your community!
