Abu Dhabi Book Club

We are a friendly English-language book club that meets in Abu Dhabi one evening a month to discuss a particular book and other subjects of interest. We try to read a variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction (usually recommended by our members) that cover many perspectives, worldviews, cultures and backgrounds.

Whenever possible we try to choose books that are available locally as paperback, ebook (i.e. Kindle) and audiobook, since different readers like to enjoy books in different ways.

Q: Do I need to have read this month's book to attend my first meeting?

A: New members are always welcome to attend their first meeting whether or not they have read this month's book! Of course, if you do have time to read some of the book before the meeting that's even better.

Attendance Policy:
Please be considerate to other members and the organizers by making sure you are able to make it to an event to which you RSVP. If you anticipate a conflict or being late, just let us know; we understand that things come up and life interferes, but please do your best.  :)
