Welcome Active - Large Breed Dog Owners!

Meet up with other active - large breed dogs and owners. With your input, I will organize a wide range of opportunities for dogs and owners to socialize and have fun such as play groups, swim groups, hiking, snowshoeing and urban walks. In striving for this group to be an important piece in bringing the dog community together , please forward me any of your ideas and input as we move this group forward together.

I am not only an outdoor enthusiast and animal lover, but am also very passionate about dogs, their behaviour, their well-being and bond with us crazy humans. I have lots of experience engaging dogs into outdoor activities and feel humbled when watching how connected they are with their surroundings and other animals. My goal is to increase the amount of opportunties for dogs and owners to not only socialize while their pups play but to also benefit from being outdoors in Calgary and it's beautiful backyards in Bragg Creek, the mountains, and beyond.

I am also a young female striving to "live to work" away from the desk-world and have been working hard on my business which focuses on dog wellness through active living. I have a special interest in active/energetic dogs (as I have owned a few to date) and exploring various ways and activities to help meet their needs. These opportunties will soon be available in evenings and weekends for summer and daytime during the fall-spring season.
