12.00 - 12.45: Introduction to studio photography; explanation of camera settings; studio equipments: what you can find in the studio and how to use it, what you need to build your own studio at home; models and photographers connection, how to guide the models
12.45 - 13.50: Low key portraits - drawing with light *
13.50 - 14.15: Break time: tea, coffee available
14.15 - 16.00: Adding more lights - basics of creative portraits; High key portraits *

* explanation & instant feedbacks, light settings and everyone will have time to take pictures
* members can ask any questions and get answers

What you get from this course:
- depending on the number of partecipants, everyone will have the some time to take photos with each different settings we will explain
- you will have the chance to try on your own and observe the other people and ask for any clarification
- provide all the basic knowledge in order to get confidence and will to experiment for your future studio sessions
- a handout with informations (bring the course home) and valuable links

- a DSLR (digital reflex) camera or any compact or bridge camera that can be set in full manual mode and has an hotshoe in order to be able to take pictures.

The Studio:
- two setups in a wide room, lots of lamps, infrared + radio wave triggers
- please check the photo albums: all the studio photos made in this Studio

If you don't know how to set your camera in manual mode and change shutter speed and aperture, please refer to your camera instruction manual and possibly bring it with you on the day.

Due to a tight schedule and in order to give everyone the chance to practice, please be punctual and come to the studio by 11.45am. Please read the refund notes too.

The course will be held in the Studio by Daniele de Paola, London based professional portrait photographer, with the help of 2-3 models.
