Hello all!
Here is your chance to meet with other local people who are interested in volunteering for their community! We can gather and discuss/plan community service projects, and try to figure out the best way to make a difference in our community. We volunteer with MANY different charities in town and are always looking for more opportunities to help. Take a look at our calender: Past, present and future, to get an idea of what we are all about.
We have formed a group where it doesn't matter whether you can donate an hour a year or an hour a day, we will find something for you! Everyone in our group is AWESOME. Wanna be awesome too? Join! We have fun, no matter what we are doing. If you have any ideas as well for volunteerism, speak up! There are no fees in this group and no silly rules, we are just here to come together as a community and prove that, despite the rankings, Nevada really DOES care. :)
With the economy in the condition it is, there are more opportunties than EVER to help out or community and really get involved with some fun projects and meet some wonderful people!

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission (LVRM) will hold it's annual Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless on Wednesday, November 25th, the day before Thanksgiving.The Mission has been serving the needs of the poor, addicted and homeless for more than 35 years.
This is one of their biggest serving days of the year,100's of hungry people will line the street today to wait for a traditional holiday meal. Read more
