Habit for Humanity of Las Vegas works to make our community a better place to live for everyone. The non-profit organization builds single family homes throughout Clark County for working families earning less than 80% of area median income. The homes are sold at no profit through a no-interest mortgage.

Habitat's vision: a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Friday, January 27th @ 12:45 pm Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers to lend a helping at the World Market Center.

Volunteers:

We'll be helping to collect donations at the World Market Winter Furniture Show. It's a day of moving furniture and decorative items from showrooms to the storage space of Habit for Humanity. Items collected are are then sold at the Habit and Opportunity Village stores to help support their missions. This volunteer event requires quite a bit of walking and some lifting. I've been to the World Market before and this place is humungous! If you have a green Habitat t-shirt please wear it, if not one will be provided to you at the market.

If you're a step counter.....I'm quite sure you'll get your 10,000 in here!

Remember to wear comfortable closed toed shoes.

Park in the garage at the north end of the World Market. proceed to the lobby of building "C" at 12:45 pm. We'll be meeting Tracy Gray there, she'll be wearing one of those green Habitat t-shirts.
