Adobe Create the Web Tour

Adobe Evangelist Terry Ryan is visiting Las Vegas to demonstrate HTML5 tools and technologies from Adobe.  Greg Wilson of Adobe and Garth Braithwaite of Adobe XD will demonstrate mobile development, PhoneGap, typography, and responsive web design.  See new tools for web design and development in the Adobe Edge suite.

Since last year, Adobe has heavily invested in HTML5.  Adobe is contributing to WebKit, the open source code used in Google Chrome and Apple Safari.  Advanced technologies including CSS Shaders, CSS Regions, and CSS Compositing are enabling visual effects, magazine-style layouts, and 3D cinematic effects with HTML5.

A lot of useful information on what Adobe is doing in the area of Web standards and related technologies. Nice overview of the Creative Cloud tools that are under development in this regard, with some practical demos. It'd be helpful to have a workshop of this depth every month, really.

Tonight's presentation is located at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. If you aren't familiar, the Chamber is above the Apple Store in Town Square. It's on the third floor and you'll need to find the hallway near the South Garage to find the entrance.

Here's a picture of the front door:

This presentation will be a nice recap for the 360 Min JavaScript marathon starting on Monday and wrapping up just before the Adobe presentation.

#360MIN topics will be completely different than Create the Web. Agreed that it will be a great way to conclude the 2 day summit of awesomeness.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
