APSA is for anyone in SATX and the surrounding area who has adopted children, is fostering-to-adopt, or is planning to adopt children. I hope to meet others to share their adoption stories, parenting advice, and provide a positive social network for those who still have kids living at home. Meetings will occur at flexible times to allow working and stay-at-home parents to participate. I will also post on-line discussions, as well as solicit ideas for meeting topics and helpful resources. All types of adoptive families (domestic, international, foster), races, ethnicities, religions, and lifestyles are welcome. Participation in various activities is voluntary and there is no minimum participation requirement.
