*** C A N C E L L E D *** Long Weekend in Traverse City

It doesn't look like we are getting any snow around here to ski anytime soon. Therefore, I thought that it would be a great idea to make a quick run to Traverse City and do some cross-country skiing and snowshoeing there (otherwise, we might not have too many chances). Right now they already have somewhere between 4 to 10 inches, and in the next few days they are getting more.

The plan is following:

Jan. 17 (Sat) - Leave anytime (preferably in the morning to still get some skiing that day) and drive up to Travers City. As mentioned, go cross-country skiing (maybe on VASA trails.)

Jan. 18 (Sun) - more skiing or snowshoeing (or both).

Jan. 19 (Mon) - still more time to do something outdoor - hiking, sowshoeing, XC skiing, or even downhill is somebody wants to. Then, in the afternoon, stop for late lunch somewhere on the way back home...

Accommodations:

You can stay at the same motel that I am at, or at any other place of your liking in Traverse City.

To participate in an overnight trip you need to be a paid group member.
