Have you wanted your volunteer hours to count on your resume?
Are you an IT professional and want to get involved in Agile Software Development and Scrum methodologies?
Are you currently participating and want to augment and refresh your skills?
Would you like to become a Certified
Scrum Master?
Are you certified and want to evangelize?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then join our group. We hold monthly networking meetings and run volunteer scrum projects online.
Most people have a hard time learning Scrum even if they are professionally trained and certified because we forget 60% of what we learn in a class the next day. Our online scrums complete an actual project chosen by the team for the benefit of a deserving non-profit organization. Your participation, your role(s), and your accomplishments will be verifiably documented and available to use as credentials. The simulations will introduce Scrum rules, guidelines, and methodologies to some and refresh them for others, enabling the team to be more cohesive and move faster.
Good, concise user stories are the fundamental building blocks of product development. Join Scrum Club as we expand in-depth on how to write a user story that engineering and business can agree on. We’ll also get our hands dirty as we break out into groups and write the requirements for a part of Corporate Espionage On-Line to gain experience with the techniques that were presented. Read more
