Code Retreat @ AgileTour 2012 Beijing

你希望锻炼自己的编程技巧吗？希望体验测试驱动开发和结对编程是什么样的吗？那就来参加这个编程练习吧。在这里没有工作的压力和无奈，有的是你对编程技巧的追求以及和其他志同道合者的交流。这是软件工艺者(Software Craftsmanship)的聚会。

请自带电脑并安装好开发环境和单元测试框架（保证两人一台即可）。

活动时间：12月1日（全天）

活动地点：北京市海淀区双清路学研大厦

乘车路线：地铁五道口站出向北200米，见到路口左转，马路北侧可见学研大厦。

本次编程练习（CodeRetreat）活动是敏捷之旅（北京站）（Agile Tour Beijing）的一部分，参加编程练习的朋友，还可以参加敏捷之旅（北京站）的其他活动。

What is a Code Retreat?

Coderetreat is a day-long, intensive practice event, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design. By providing developers the opportunity to take part in focused practice, away from the pressures of ‘getting things done’, the coderetreat format has proven itself to be a highly effective means of skill improvement. Practicing the basic principles of modular and object-oriented design, developers can improve their ability to write code that minimizes the cost of change over time.

This is a language-agnostic event. Each session, the pair chooses what language they want to work in. So, no matter what your language of choice, you are welcome. We practice the fundamentals: TDD and the 4 rules of simple design ; these are applicable regardless of language.

My estimate is, if the promotion is priority 1 stuff, I will start translating it by tonight; otherwise I will defer it till the weekend. So, please let me know the priority :)
