Hello,

We are local Alameda moms and dads of kids of all ages.  We enjoy hanging out with other parents & kids in Alameda who want to get out, be active, live life, share, interact and explore the entire Bay Area while raising our precious children.  More than just a group, the Alameda Hip Parents (AHP) group exists to provide social events for both parents and their children, support life-long friendships and establish a sense of community to families with young children in Alameda.

Once you submit your application, our member Heather will review it, approve it and send you the welcome note, or contact you if needed (lack of info on your profile).  It is very simple and fast! We look forward to meeting you.

BTW, all of the money collected via dues is used in the group (play dates and other celebrations such as the Holiday Party).  When it applies, members individually pay for some events (i.e. a Mom/child yoga class or a tumbling class or entry fees to certain places).
