Have you been to Chinatown to eat before? What are your thoughts of Chinatown? If you've been, which restaurants have you been to and what are your favorite dishes?

Yes. Many restaurants over the years, because I eat in chinatown at least twice a month, and, when I lived in town, at least once a week. Lately we have been going to David's and eating duck, salt & pepper squid, pork dumplings, and whole bass.

Is there a particular restaurant that you've been wanting to try in Chinatown but never have? Generally, what are your favorite foods?

I like most foods. My current single favorite thing is the ginger sauce that Davids serves with their dumplings. I am very allergic to scallops, though, and cannot eat a dish with them in it, even if I avoid the scallops themselves.

As we are looking for the adventurous and those willing to try anything once tell us what is the strangest thing you've ever ate.

Chicken feet at a dim sum luncheon? Though that's not particularly strange.

Would you consider yourself a lover of Asian food? If so, what country's cuisine do you love the most and why?

Yes. I love Asian food the most.

What's the main reason you wish to join this group and what would you like to gain from this group that will make your time worth while?

I would like to have a guide to help get us past the language and culture barriers so we can experience more authentic foods.

I have always loved eating in Chinatown and would like to learn more about the food. This sounds wonderful!
