Whether we hope to network, volunteer, build our professional portfolio, learn / improve personal skills, or meet new people and have fun, it requires courage to take that first step forward.  (If it were that easy, you would have done it already.)  It takes courage to change our personal story and be the kind of person we aspire to be.  So, let this be the year where you find your courage and live boldly!  Together, we'll make ourselves better individuals and our community a better place.

Who are we?

The Alexandria Junior Chamber (Jaycees) is a premier leadership training and community service organization for young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40. Jaycee members live in northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  Members represent a variety of occupations, interests, and social and economic backgrounds.

We focus on helping members develop leadership skills through community service, business/social activities, and personal development. Our over-arching twin goals are to make a positive impact in the community and have fun doing it!

Each year, we are able to participate in almost 100 opportunities (no mandatory events) to give back to our community, develop new skills, and meet new people in Alexandria and surrounding areas. Jaycee events include happy hours, movie nights, socials, fundraisers, community service activities, and professional networking activities.

Membership in the Alexandria Jaycees includes membership in the Virginia Jaycees, the U.S. Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International.

Henry

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
