Business: Work and WordPress: Pressware, Publishing, and Passion

Details

We're at the Central Library in the "large meeting room".

This session will be led by Tom McFarlin.

We all know that WordPress is a powerful piece of software that allows almost anyone to set up a website. But when it comes to running a business using WordPress, where do we get started?

In this talk, we’re going to define two types of people who work with WordPress: Implementers and Developers.

We’ll cover the differences of each and the roles each play in providing a service to clients. Additionally, we’ll take a look at some of the things I’ve found useful when running a business based on WordPress.

As always, this is a discussion, so please come prepared to share your questions and ideas regarding this topic, as well as any other WordPress questions you might have. The Meetup is free, because our space is free, however we ask you to please RSVP so we can save a space for you.

Be sure to bring your laptop if possible, and you're welcome to bring your lunch if you'd like.

See you then!
