What we’re about

This group is for motorcyclists who simply like to ride and enjoy doing it together! Sometimes there is a destination and other times the ride is the destination.
If you have always wanted to have other riders to ride with. Well, HERE THEY ARE!!!
All types of bikes and bikers are welcome! We welcome safe, experienced riders who love to ride. We typically ride 150-250 miles on a day ride. We do not drink alcohol at all when we are getting back on the bikes. We wear all the gear and focus on safety.
As an introduction to group riding, here's a link to a good video put out by MSF.  Please check it out!!   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erpkyD7SMfw

This is a safe, fun group with leaders who lead, plan and organize our rides and events.

All participating riders must have a motorcycle endorsement and have attained a proficiency level suitable to group riding.

Please come dressed appropriately for riding- No open toed shoes or shorts, etc.

We practice a "ride your own ride" type of riding. We are not a "one speed fits all" group. Some people like to ride a bit of a peppier pace in the hills, and some like to chill, and all are welcome.

We use Sena Mesh communication devices. Most have the 50s. It is not required but can be very beneficial.

So while we will stay together in staggered formation in town and any main roads, when we hit the twisties we stretch out- single file and everyone rides at their own pace.

No matter what though, NO ONE will be left behind. Any faster riders will always wait at the next stop sign, or where road splits for the rest of the group. No one will make a turn until the riders behind them are caught up and see that a turn is being made. If everyone does this the group will always stay together.

Don’t ever assume someone just left, or are just tying their shoes.

***When leaving the group always make sure and let the ride leader and anyone riding in front of or behind you know that you are leaving so that we are not worried.

We ride in staggered formation on main roads and single file in the twisties and other hazardous situations. The leader rides in the left third of the lane, while the next rider stays at least one second behind in the right third of the lane; the rest of the group follows the same pattern. Single file is always necessary on corners, bridges, and any other potentially hazardous situation.

Remember in a group you are not only responsible for yourself, but you are also responsible for the person in front of you and in back of you. So be aware of where they are in the road and if someone is being dangerous talk to them or let the leader know so that they can talk with you or them about it.

Rule #1- DON'T DIE!

While anyone may suggest a ride to an organizer, for everyone’s safety, only Organizers may post/lead rides. If you have been a regular with us for a while and you would like to become an event organizer, please talk to the group leader about it.
Our main concern is safe rides, but there is also a lot involved with planning a ride, especially for a group.
Get to know us and you can help decide the direction of the group!

For New Riders:
We will always have you ride toward the rear of the group, so you don't have to worry about slowing the group down, and can just relax and enjoy the ride. We will always have a sweeper at the rear of the group, who is happy to just chill back there.

New to the Group? Show up early so that you can talk to the ride leader before the ride and let them know your experience. If the leader knows that you have 30 years of riding experience, they won’t worry so much about you, but if you only have 100 miles on your new motorcycle and just took your endorsement test, we want to know so that we can be aware of your riding ability for your safety and everyone else’s.

Please post a picture of yourself on your profile, so that when you show up to an event we know who you are.

While there are costs associated with what we do such as meetup fees, etc. We do not require membership fees. If you would like to donate please feel free to venmo/zelle/paypal to Stephanie @ 6788209098.
