How to use the waiting list

Hi there again!

My goal, and the group's goal is to build a support group, a small community of writers and like-minded peeps who share their work with each other.

Thing is, I want to accommodate as many of you as I can.

The meetings fill up fast, even the waiting list fills up. The amount of interest in this group is really really cool.

Because of this, there's been some confusion of how the waiting list works.

Something to remember:

  • Generally, not all people who say they are going to show up at a meeting actually show up.
  • In a perfect world everyone who RSVPed Yes and then decided they couldn't make the meeting would change their RSVP status.

So what does that mean to those on the waiting list? Not much really.

  • If you've signed up to the waiting list, or if you just want to check out the group, please do so.
  • The only caveat is you probably won't get a chance to read, but you will be able to hang out and participate and get a good feel of the group.

I hope this answers some of your questions, and I hope to see you fellow humans at future meetings.
