New Event: Paris Scavenger Hunt & Beer

From: Andy

Announcing a new event for The Paris Expat American Meetup Group!

What: Paris Scavenger Hunt & Beer

When: Saturday, December 1, 6:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Hi,

Here is an interesting idea from one of the American Meetup members. So I would like to try something productive for a change. May require a little more brain power than simply deciding which pint to order. We will start at the Thistle to arrange teams and have some liquid encouragement. So please don't be late. Read details below.

Just which national allegiance claims the title of the wittiest, the cleverest, the most cunning Paris expat community? For our December 1st meetup, we intend to determine just that.

Put on your knit thinking caps and insulated adventure boots because, for this competition, we're taking to the streets for the very first Paris Expat Meetup Adventure Race! Think of it as a sort of treasure hunt, but this time for all of us grown ups. We'll be starting and ending in a bar (of course) but, in between the drinking and debauchery, you'll be hunting around the dark alleys of Paris, finding and interacting with the planted actors, using magic potions, revealing invisible inks, solving clues, and, with any luck, beating the other teams into the ground.

This event is open to all members no matter what their nationality, though you can only compete for one team so choose wisely. Expect prizes for the winner, in addition to the bragging rights that are, undoubtedly, the real motivation in all of this.

Decide which nationality you want to play for and start organizing your squad soon! Squads should have between two and four members. There is a limit of 150 players total, for all squads from all national teams, so make sure that you reserve your place soon. This sort of competition doesn't come around often, so make sure that you get involved while you still can!

All of this is being created by Kurt Muehmel of Ravenchase Adventures and is being offered free of charge for all of us wonderful meetup folks. Thanks Kurt!

For more information about this event, feel free to contact me or any other meetup organizer. For more information about Ravenchase and the adventures that they create, check out their website at, or contact Kurt at [address removed].

Good luck, and may the best team win!
