SuperBowl XLV There will be great Superbowl food all night long; from Chicken Wings to Nachos to Handmade Burgers and a special late licence for alcohol. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers . You don't want to miss it!
Our Superbowl London events by and for the expat American community are legendary; 2,000 football fans braved the worst snowstorm in 15 years to join us to watch the overnight broadcast LIVE from The USA. Alongside that they saw a first time ever Presidential broadcast during The Superbowl from the newly elected President Barack Obama. As this years Superbowl is coming strait from Arlington, Texas? (Good thing too, cause Wisconson and Pennsylvania are freezing!).
With The Black Eyed Peas as the Halftime Show and Christina Aguilera singing the national anthem, "Wardrobe malfunctions" are garenteed. The world premier of the "Captain America" flick is set to be aired as well (I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed! ; ) ). You don't want to miss it!
We have a special late licence in effect, which allows for the bar to be open until the wee hours and until the final close of play. The entire 900 person venue is all ours for the entire broadcast.

I see this is planned for a Sunday night during the NFL playoffs. Perhaps if it is a bar event, choose one that is friendly to the American game?

The World Cup was really well organised. It's tailed off a bit since then. Shame.

Hayley+1 guestA great idea executed a bit poorly. I know these things are very difficult to plan, however with over 800 people RSVPing on the day of, and 500,600,700, RSVPs leading up to the event, reserving a venue with a capacity of 450, telling us the capacity for the venue is 900 and not allowing for ticket purchasing or reservations ahead of time just saying the RSVP was our ticket, which clearly didnt work, many people waiting in line had RSVP'd on the meetup group online. It would have been better if the venue wasn't too small, in the half of the bar where we could just about stand without being squashed there wasn't even enough sound to hear what was happening, which was somewhat frustrating. It seemed like it could have been much more enjoyable if there was just more space. Oh, also the venue was not prepared enough, for example, by kickoff had run out of half of the food on the menu, and by halftime only one beer left on tap, by 3rd only cider! I still had fun but ended up leaving early
