Re: [animalrights-177] Sarah Palin supports aerial hunting of wolves

-And a main reason for aerial hunting wolves in Alaska is just so there will be greater numbers of moose left for tourists to come and kill in summer.

Hunting and fishing creates a huge amount of business in Alaska, and I doubt Sarah Palin sees animals as anything more than natural resouces to be harvested for economic gain.

I would also go Obama over McCain because Obama has a much more effective environmental policy. Want to help animals, how about slowing down global climate change and stopping mass extinction.

The way to make the world a better place is to have respect for nature, living and nonliving. It's the fabric upon which all our lives are woven.

Hi,

Have you ever heard of aerial hunting? It's a brutal practice. Wolves are shot from low-flying aircraft or chased to exhaustion, then killed at point-blank range.

Governor Sarah Palin, the Republican nominee for Vice President, promotes this barbaric practice, exploiting a loophole in the Federal Airborne Hunting Act to allow private wolf killers to shoot down wolves using aircraft. We have to get the word out about this!
