CARA presenting: "On Their Own Terms” with attorney and author Lee Hall ( with FREE Vegan Dinner)

14th, Wednesday, 6-8pm: Cleveland Heights Library, 2345 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights OH. Join the Cleveland Animal Rights Alliance for a delicious free vegan dinner followed by an illuminating presentation by attorney and author Lee Hall. Hall is Vice President of Legal Affairs for Friends of Animals, an international animal advocacy organization working to cultivate a respectful view of nonhuman animals, free-living and domestic, since 1957. FOA's goal is to free animals from cruelty and institutionalized exploitation around the world. Hall will discuss the main ideas in her brilliant, groundbreaking new book, "On Their Own Terms: Bringing Animal-Rights Philosophy Down to Earth" which calls for both a return to the roots of animal rights and a reimagining of its future. She'll cover topics for advocates and aspiring advocates alike with a presentation that will answer many questions for those who ask… “Can I really make a difference?” and “Where do I start?” Learn which advocacy work effects genuine, lasting change for the animals and our ecology.
