VOLUNTEER DAY AT FRIEND FARMED ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Meet at Charing Cross station at 9.15 - by the ticket office. Please bring £10 note and some pound coins for the fare - or drive down. For a group of 4 or more there is a 50% discount fare.

THE SANCTUARY IS A VEGAN SITE, SO PLEASE RESPECT AND ONLY BRING VEGAN FOOD ON SITE. NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS.

Bring wellies, a change of trousers/top, waterproof coat and a snack or potluck food to share for lunch. One of our wonderful volunteers normally brings extra food for us all to share and we suggest anyone who has some of her very tasty food makes a donation of a pound or two to her in recognition of the effort in preparing it and the cost of ingredients. Best to still bring some food of your own though just in case. Lifts to and from Paddock Wood Station are available.

These visits are always enjoyable: usually we help with outdoor maintenance and other mini projects around the sanctuary. Its also a chance to meet like-minded people and interact with many rescued farmed animals (normally including feeding them).......we usually leave around 5:30pm. Travel back must be in groups of at least 4 if a group discount is purchased.
