Sue from Cambridge is the next campaigner to take advantage of the event in Trafalgar Square, she will be appearing on the fourth plinth on Tuesday 11 August, 7pm to 8pm. If you can help with leafleting passers by during Sue's appearance, just turn up on the day.
Sue will focus on various aspects of animal rights. She will try to get people to think about why we (in the UK) eat some animals but not others, so why sheep and cows, but not dogs and horses. She will also be highlighting other areas of abuse, such as animal experiments, animals in entertainment, and animals killed for clothing. The overall message is that animals should have the right to companionship of their own species, and the right to live out their lives naturally rather than to be killed. It will be shown as a live videocam at http://www.oneandother.co.uk
I'm going with some leaflets, Paul Bruce-Joy is going too, anyone else?
