May Anime Potluck

Our latest and greatest potluck--this time a bit further northward, courtesy of Emily. :)

Since we've finished up with Revolutionary Girl Utena, we'll be kicking off some new series, assuming the technology gods cooperate: Princess Jellyfish, about a bunch of misfit otaku girls who have to deal with the dreaded Real World in order to save their home, and Tiger and Bunny, an anime in which superheroes fight crime--while on TV! Other than that, we aren't committed to watching anything yet, so it's all up to you--bring your favorite anime, old or new, to share with us.

The usual things to remember: we can't watch a whole series in a few hours, so we'll probably only watch a few episodes of any one thing, depending on what people want. So make sure to speak up if you like something! And please feel free to bring drinks or snacks to share with your fellow fans, if you want--women cannot live by anime alone, after all. :D

The meetup is at Emily's place from 3 pm to 8-10 pm or so (or even later). We are further north this time, so any southerly folk might want to take that into account; we do have people willing to carpool, however, (including myself) so don't be afraid to ask. And as always, if anyone wants to offer alternate locations, I'm always open to new options...
