Hi, I'm the course instructor. Basic course infor like dates, description, pricing, location (near SFO), etc., can be accssed at at http://cyberwebconsulting.com ... the course fee covers renting of the hotel, all course materials, such as course notes, lab exercises, and a copy of the textbook "Core Python Programming" (a $60 value) ... for more info, contact me at wescpy at gmail dot com. It's great to have both Ruby *and* Python in your toolchest!

I was curious about the Python course too. Can someone post a link to the details? Thanks.

An announcement was made during the May 4th meetup about an upcoming public course on Python. Who do we need to contact to sign-up for the course?

I have been developing Python apps on GAE for a bit but I like Ruby a lot. Tonights discussion definitely got me interested in some experimentation and opened my eyes to some of the code I might work on in the future to help make this a more viable production option for GAE developers.

It was great so see so many Rubyists this evening. We had a lot of great questions from the audience, and I already see folks deploying apps.

Will non-Googlers have any problem getting into this room?

Is it confirmed that the event will be held at the Googleplex? I thought I saw a post/email last week that the venue had changed. Thanks in advance for clarification.

Will this be taped to be posted on e.g., YouTube? I might have to be up in SF for Web 2.0 conference, but this is a very interesting topic for me.
