In this meetup, we'll have Mike Aizatsky from the App Engine and the developer of the mapper APIs talk about using MapReduce on the App Engine.
The AppEngine-MapReduce is an open-source library for doing MapReduce-style computations on the Google App Engine platform (http://mapreduce.apps.... As of today, it contains a mapper implementation that provides a fast and efficient way to iterate over datastore entities and blob files. In the future, it will expand to provide full MapReduce support, including the shuffle and reduce stages.
