Appthology (http://appthology.com/) is a meetup-based community of developers, designers, strategists, marketers and tech enthusiasts who are passionate about what they do. Hosted by mobile solutions agency Aurnhammer.

The Aurnhammer (http://aurnhammer.com/) Team announced that its monthly meetups will be renamed Appthology to serve the broader technology landscape. As of February 2014, three meetups- Lower Manhattan iOS Developer Meetup, CMO Roundtable, and Downtown Developers Meetup- will be merged into Appthology. We’d also like to introduce the Appthology Blog (http://appthology.com/) to build our community and continue meetup discussions online.

Appthology's March event will host Jesse Tayler. Jesse is one of the foremost authorities on management of effective team software methodologies. His career spans over 25 years hands-on experience leading Objective-C based technology projects for startups and large scale enterprise alike.

Jesse cofounded the NeXTSTEP startup (Paget Press), that created the first electronic AppStore, and personally demonstrated the technology to Mr. Jobs in 1993. Jesse cofounded Netmodular community, creating many pioneering social networks, including some that are quite large today such as AlwaysOn. Jesse grew teams to 40+ leading growth of up to tens of millions in funding at presigious Silicon Valley startups.
