The topic

For our sixth Argumentative Mornings, we'll be debating keeping up with the Joneses. Should we keep chasing the new hotness, or should we stop when we find a thing that we’re happy with?

The debaters

Mandy J Watson (@mandyjwatson (https://twitter.com/mandyjwatson)) is a tech-culture journalist who has contributed to a wide range of local and international publications, and is founder and co-editor of brainwavez.org (http://www.brainwavez.org/). She'll be arguing that we don't need to worship and chase after tech, that it should just work and fade into the background.

Maximillian Kaizen (@maxkaizen (https://twitter.com/maxkaizen/)) is a Hunter of Genius, the Public Lead at Creative Commons SA, and Program Director at Ogilvy Digital Marketing Academy. She'll be arguing for full-bodied participation in the latest technology and trends.
