About us
🎨This is a community of people who are passionate about art and love sharing powerful ideas!
☕️ We explore anything hot on the London art scene and we go to eclectic café/tea rooms after to talk about the art we've seen and socialise.
🙋🏽♀️🙋🙋🏾🙋🏻♀️🧕🏼🧟🧟♀️🧞♂️🧞♀️ The group is inclusive. We love diversity and everyone is welcome. I hope to meet you in person soon!

ZINEB SEDIRA WHEN WORDS FALL SILENT, CINEMA SPEAKS then coffee social
Tate Britain, Millbank, London SW1P 4RG, UK, London, GBHello cinema lovers! 🎬
What if cinema could become an act of resistance?
🥁 Join us as we explore Zineb Sedira’s fascinating installation at Tate Britain, where film, politics and cultural history collide. Step into recreated spaces inspired by the revolutionary spirit of 1960s and 70s cinema, from Parisian cafés buzzing with ideas to mobile cinemas bringing stories to new audiences.
More than a trip into the past, this exhibition invites us to question whose stories get told, how memories shape our world, and whether art can really make a difference.
🎟️ Admission is free and no booking required.
We will meet outside the exhibition room.
More info about the exhibit here.
We will take about 1 hour to explore the exhibit then go for coffee somewhere nearby.
Everyone welcome 🙂
Important to note:
- We typically socialise at cafés after the exhibit, nice, independent ones, not chains and not at pubs. If the event is late on a Saturday we go to a nice bar/pub for drinks after. This meetup is inclusive and everyone is welcome to join.
- If you get there before everyone and you’re not sure what to do or where we are, post a comment on here and I will let you know our whereabouts.
- Once we go in we may separate, feel free to explore the exhibit by yourself, we don’t have to be together. Some people like chatting to others while exploring and other people prefer to be with their own thoughts. You are welcome to express yourself and do whatever feels comfortable.
- If you are late or if you’ve booked for an earlier or later time don’t worry just go in and you’ll find us inside. Keep an eye on the comments as I’ll be posting updates.
