Art Openings ATL is a social group for those interested in meeting new friends who enjoy the Atlanta cultural and visual arts scene. We want to provide an audience for Atlanta artists, and expose the public to artwork they may not have experienced previously. Our organizers plan social events around art openings, group art shows, museum openings and open studios. Support the arts! Join us.

NEW MEMBERS:
Members without a brief profile and photo will be deleted. Please answer the questions AND post a photo. We are now charging $1.00 for each event we program. Why? Because Meetup is not a free service - your $1.00 contribution at each event will help offset Meetup.com monthly fees.

Meetup.com has not provided us with the ability to effectively distinguish scheduled group events (Meetups) from Calendar Notes (Art events on the calendar that are not scheduled group events, but events we thought you would like to know about regardless). On the main page, note that "Upcoming Meetups" means both scheduled group events & calendar listings. You can RSVP for an actual Meetup, not for a Calendar Note.
