**This Group is kept small**  Based in the Ashburn and Sterling, VA area. We welcome all people in surrounding locations that feel as if they are living in Stepford Village., which seems to encompass most of Loudon County, VA.  I am starting this group in hopes to meet new friends. This area can get very blah can't it?! What good is having exciting news but nobody to share it with?! What's good about having sad stories, but nobody to listen to them? What's fun about sitting around do nothing with nobody around to chit chat with? To laugh with, to cry with to share some great big hugs with! Let's create fun times and learn new things together ladies & gentlemen! The first thing starts with a big smile, a warm embrace and lots of laughs and of course...a great big hello! This group may be geared more to Stay at home/work from home men and women as I will be scheduling some things during the day hours. However, not all!!! This will probably not be a club/happy hour group..so if that is your preference, you may enjoy a different group that caters to that atmosphere a bit more. But I will do some evening activities though! So do jump in and join regardless and I will make it so that there are a mix of activities that will hopefully be convenient at one point or another - and weekends as well. Basically looking for a group of women or men over 30 who would like to to just relax, have some light outings, get togethers, go bowling, golfing, eat out at casual restaurants and have fun talking, taking walks, travelling, shopping, laughing and leaving egos at the door! I hope the group will be drama free! Initially, I intended on an all-women group, but have thought about you men and how important it is for you all to find the same thing us women want...friendship! This isn't a dating group however. I do not drink, but I do not mind if you do! My main reason for starting this group also is to be find down to earth friends who aren't into the whole 'stepford lifestyle' that Loudon County seems to embrace! You do not have to live in Ashburn, but the surrounding areas would be best and most convenient for getting together. Once I have a few members I will set up an initial get together!

Initially, I would like to keep the group small. So any inactive members will be removed after a period of time so that I can open more space to new members. I appreciate your understanding in advance!
