RSVPs open Thursday at 7:00 PM
We will start at Rough Butt Bald Overlook on the BRP. Overlook is between Mile Post 425 and 426 and pick up the MTS trail to Rough Butt Bald. May go further than the bald, may do shuttle if I can find access to MTS at Cowee Mtn Overlook. Anyways, plan for at least an out and back trip. This is new trail for me so not sure what to expect.
AVL meet up go from Ingles, take 191 to BRP and then to the overlook parking lot and plan to be there around 10:00.
Second meet up site is Brevard BiLo also at 9:00 and we will go to Rough Butt Bald and meet rest of group.
Flexible attitude required.
Well behaved dogs OK
Limit to 10 as in wilderness area and I don't want to get more than 10 people lost at one time.
