Ghosts of Greenbrier: Old Settlers Trail to Lindsay Cemetery

Disclaimer: I have not done this hike so there may be an occasional trick but there will be treats at the end if you make it back alive.
This looks to be a moderate hike of 10 miles that begins in the Greenbrier region of GSMNP on the Tennessee side. This is at relatively low elevations for the smokies so there should be some nice color still. Along this trail are many old stone walls, chimneys and other remnants of past settlements, including the home of Dolly Parton's ancestors! The trail runs for 15.8 miles but we will take it as far as Linday cemetery before heading back to the trailhead. With any luck, we will encounter the spirits of these adventurous folks.
Please be prompt for the meetup. Note this is the Ingle's on Smoky Park Hwy! We will meet and greet, assemble car pools and depart within 15 minutes of meeting time. Estimated return time is sometime later in the afternoon. I keep a casual pace with time for picture taking, conversation and appreciation of surroundings.
Advise to wear solid hiking shoes and dress in layers.
Bring plenty of water, lunch/snack, camera, and money to help drivers with gas.
