The Autism Community Network invites everyone to the first annual Calgary Autism Community Celebration weekend on September 17th and 18th!
The first annual Autism Community Weekend will be held on September 17 and 18th, 2011. This will be a unifying event for our community and will bring together individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their families, support agencies and government officials.
The Calgary Autism Community Network has the goal of uniting all those working with individuals and families living with ASD. The Network was made possible thanks you a Grant from The Calgary Foundation.
Through the Autism Community Network, we will find ways to collaborate, share information & resources, and increase the awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Calgary.
The weekend will be a celebration of the uniqueness of individuals with ASD and their contributions to their families and communities.
The event will raise a new awareness of Autism in Calgary. We will be joining with individuals on the Autism Spectrum and acknowledging the people who support them: family members, agency staff, volunteers and the greater Calgary community.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the Autism community! See more here:
