If you would like to join, membership dues are $48 annually (renew date: 12/1/09).
There is a $15 per-meeting fee for CMSA Members.
Non-member fee: $45 per meeting.
CMSA's official launch date: December 4th, 2008 at CMS Expo, in Denver, Colorado. Meeting time and location are tentatively planned for the first Wednesday of the month, and will be finalized after discussing this with members.
The CMS Association is incorporated and has been operating a local CMS "user" group ( www.JoomlaChicago.com ), with over 220 members. We are expanding to provide services to professionals in all CMS solutions.
Content Management professionals, gather together to share insights on the CMS world. Whether your system is open source or proprietary, there are many core competencies which cross barriers and need to be understood in order to do a better job at creating and maintaining an effective web presence.
Our focus is on supporting members from the four professional disciplines which constitute the CMS Team, collaborating to create great websites:

C = Content
D = Developers
