Saturday, January 19, 2013: The Evolution of Astrological Archetypes

Kelly Lee Phipps

The Evolution of Astrological Archetypes

An archetype is a universally understood symbol, term, or pattern of behavior, a prototype upon which others are copied, patterned, or emulated. Archetypes are often used in myths and storytelling across different cultures.

Each of the twelve signs of the zodiac has an archetype. These archetypes evolve just as we do. Their evolution is seen in five phases of transformation. For example, the Aries Archetype starts as the Dare-Devil, evolves through the Warrior, grows into the Leader, then the Pioneer, and finally matures into the heroic Champion.

In this lecture, Kelly will present the evolution of all twelve zodiac archetypes, show how these patterns can assist in spiritual growth, and walk the participants through the archetypes present in their own charts and what this may mean for them.

Kelly Lee Phipps has practiced astrology for over 25 years and published Celestial Renaissance: A Revolution of Astrology, the Sacred Language of Astrology audio course, and the Tao of Astrology video course and current book project.

He has lectured for astrology groups internationally and is known for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and humorous style. In 2008, he released a documentary film on astrology, Return of the Magi. Currently he is working on his next documentary film called Astrology Demystified, about chart interpretation. He resides in Boulder, Colorado.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
