Join volunteers from the RASC Vancouver and park interpreters from Metro Parks for their annual:

All Night Star Gazing

8:00 PM to 10:00 AM!
August 19, 2011 to August 20, 2011
Aldergrove Lake Regional Park
All ages welcome. $2.00 per person - drop-in fee

Meet at the Aldergrove Bowl entrance off of Lefeuvre Road. The location of the park entrance can be found on this Google Map (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Lefeuvre+Rd+at+8+Ave%2C+Abbotsford%2C+BC).

RASC Vancouver will have family-friendly presentations and displays, and different kinds of telescopes for you to view celestial treasures of summer skies!

Aldergrove Bowl is a great venue for watching sumer stars: bring a blanket and lay back to enjoy the celestial show. Explore the solar system and beyond with help from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Vancouver Centre. Enjoy an interactive play from Greek Mythology and navigate the constellations with park interpreters. Participants can bring tents or trailers to camp overnight but must arrive before 11:00 pm and can leave at any time. All ages welcome. $2.00 per person - drop-in fee. Meet at Aldergrove Bowl entrance off of Lefeuvre Road.
