���but in all seriousness, the difference in verbage between Tx Constitution and US Constitution exemplifies the sheep motivation behind the states rights movements since the civil war. "Don't tell us who we can have as slaves..."

The state���s rights movement has been around long before the civil war��� Before we even had our constitution America was run by the ���Articles of confederation��� where all the states had control of their rights or lack of ��and the national govt only controlled War and coinage.

 

Fortunately the states have been losing power ever since and the National Govt gaining it, especially post Civil war���.��

 

It���s not as bad as it seems, things have actually been moving in the right,, ahem,, left direction for 200 years���
