It is interesting that the first statement seems to be filled with the common incorrect perception that anyone who follows a fantasy is likely to be honest. The contrary is generally true. The level of deceit in the God-fearing Bush Administration certainly points this out. Fantasy allows people to manipulate the underlying morals of the fantasy or it confuses them so much that they create their own fantasy morals. Social behavior based on values cemented in reality can not be manipulated and usually can be easily understood.
The religious calling is certainly attractive because of the lack of Federal Income Tax on the clergy's income and the lack of property taxes on the land owned by the religious social club (church). This must make it really tempting to try to evade our tax laws.
