For our June 2015 workshop we will cover PHP for WordPress Development on Wednesday, June 24th.
Meet-and-greet and setup begins at 6:30pm; workshop proper begins at 7pm. Come early if you need assistance setting up!
PHP is a MUST if you are developing anything within WordPress. Themes, plugins, or even modifying the behavior of the WordPress core - all require an understanding of proper usage and implementation of PHP.
Enter the Coder's Guild. Our workshop will briefly cover an introduction to PHP before exploring the many avenues (actions, hooks, PHP classes, etc) within WordPress that PHP can be applied to. It will be a hands-on workshop, so bring your laptops to the party!

If you already build WordPress sites via a local dev environment, then you're set for the workshop. If however, you don't build through local dev, then you'll need to set up a cloudDev environment.
