Hometown: Harrington Park, NJ

Sherra had originally invited me to join the group - lost track of the invite, but reconnected through a link from the Atlanta Web Design Group.
I'm a designer, mostly print but have been adding web/e-mail design to my skillset. I've done quite a bit of direct marketing design in a corporate in-house studio, but I'm also interested in web/interactive, and publication design. Particularly fascinated by the idea of merging publication design into the web arena.
I would say that I'm a junior- to mid-level designer.
I spent nearly three years commuting to the far reaches of Alpharetta, which really impacted my in-town network. I would like to rebuild my local connections, meet other designers (and potential colleagues), and continue to learn more about design. Since I'm currently looking for work, I would (as of *now*) be willing to help out as much as is needed - certainly attending meetings, but I can also help organize events, etc. Once I do find a job, my availability would (of course) depend on my job responsibilities, but I want to remain active regardless.
I can coordinate the meeting specifics - making sure the elements of the meeting are ready to go, help set up, etc.
I began my graphic design career as a print designer and production artist. Went back to school, got my BFA, and am now developing my web/interactive skills to add to my bag of tricks.
