Meet with other local black women and men in Atlanta, Georgia who choose to wear their hair natural. Gather to commune and support one another on this journey of relaxer-free hair! Discuss our natural hair care, maintenance, and the politics of having natural hair.
We welcome those who are happily nappy, natural, transitioning to natural, chemically-treated and those that are considering a journey into natural tresses or just looking for other options in hair care. In addition to natural hair, we are also focus on living naturally. Also, look for new events for our children and teens on caring and maintaining their natural hair. So no matter how you wear your hair; nappy, kinky, straight (natural), protected (with a weave) or just free, you are always welcome to this group. The group is also great for those that are considering "going natural" and need the help and education to transition. Our group is comprised of all naturals, from the most experience just looking to keep up with the trends, help others and a quest for more knowledge; to the sister that is still "just thinking" about taking the plunge in the natural hair tresses of life.
